Engulfing Shapes in Quiet Ranges

An engulfing candle inside a tight range is not the same story as an engulfing candle after a stretched run. The shape can look identical; the job is different.

In training we ask learners to mark the twenty-session high and low before naming the engulfing event. If the whole pattern sits in the middle of that band, treat it as information about a pause, not an automatic turn.

This habit reduces the urge to force a dramatic narrative onto ordinary two-bar noise.
