Wick Length and Session Memory

A long upper wick says buyers pushed and could not hold. It does not, by itself, say sellers now control the next week. Pair the wick with what happened on the following open and with nearby volume of activity if you track it.

Learners in our Copacabana studios often keep a ‘shadow diary’ for one instrument: date, wick direction, follow-through. Patterns emerge that textbook plates never show.

Keep the diary boring. The point is memory, not prediction theatre.
